Since China entered the new era,significant changes have taken place in all walks of life,including the education industry.Under the push of the new curriculum reform,more and more educators start emphasizing the cultivation of students' core literacy is important.So chemistry as a basic subject,also should assume the responsibility of cultivating students' core literacy.Therefore,it is clearly pointed out,in the 2017 edition of the common high school chemistry curriculum standards,that the core literacy of chemistry should be permeated in chemistry teaching to cultivate students' comprehensive ability.However,through investigation and observation of practical teaching,it is found that the cultivation of chemical core literacy only stays in the verbal appeal and the high quality class evaluation.However,in the daily teaching,teachers still adhere to the traditional teaching concept,and teaching for " solve the problem,get high score".On the contrary,the lack of understanding in learning will reduce the teaching effect and fail to meet the requirements of core literacy cultivation.On this basis,the author chose the key module in high school chemistry – electro-chemistry foundation,to carry out a practical research on improving students' core literacy.This paper chooses the abstract part of the five core qualities-"evidence reasoning and model cognition" as the starting point,and divides it into two independent systems of "evidence reasoning" and "model cognition".The research focuses on "model cognition",which makes the research content more specific and more referential.Through the literature method,putting forward the background of the project,the research status of "model" and "model cognition",the purpose and significance of the paper and the methods adopted in the research process.Then the professional concepts involved in this paper are introduced and appropriate theories are selected as literature support.At the same time,in order to make the research results more referential,Aiming at the high school teachers in Hefei city,Anhui province,this paper designs a survey on the understanding degree of "model cognition" literacy and "electro-chemistry" knowledge.On the basis,analyzes the "model cognition" literacy involved in the electro-chemical knowledge,so as to realize the problems students having in learning electro-chemistry knowledge.Finally,based on the correlation between the results of the questionnaire and the knowledge of electro-chemistry,Some teaching case about "galvanic cell" and "electrolytic cell" was designed with the support of constructivism theory and Piaget's cognitive development stage theory.At the same time,two classes were selected as the experimental group and the control group for action research,and the teaching effect was analyzed through the results of the test,and the electrochemical system model was constructed.Based on the teaching of "electro-chemical knowledge",this paper finds,through action research,that teachers change the traditional teaching method in teaching and conduct teaching in the way of "model construction",It is helpful to improve teaching efficiency and make students more efficient mastering arcane knowledge,improve students "cognitive model" literacy at the same time,the cultivation of comprehensive ability.
