Competency is a professional term belonging to the field of management,which is in the company,those who have outstanding talent of outstanding performance in terms of'performance effectiveness of technical ability,knowledge level and other aspects of personal accomplishment and quality characteristics.Middle managers are between senior leaders and ordinary staff exchange platform,responsible for the company's decision to implement the mainstay role.In recent years,with the rapid development of English training market,the requirements of middle managers have been gradually improved,and some of the middle-level managers' job competency is obviously insufficient,which has a certain impact on the development of the company.This paper takes Beijing New Oriental English training school-core management middle management personnel as the research object,using behavioral event interview method,establish the competency model of the field of English training of middle managers.This article through to the Beijing New Oriental English training school middle management situation analysis,obtained in the process of rapid development of enterprises,appeared such as the standard thought is serious,see general,complacent and other many problems,aiming at these problems,put forward countermeasures is to establish Beijing New Oriental English training school Middle-level Managers Competency model.By combing and summarizing the relevant literature,the concept of competency,competency model,behavioral event interview and coding are sorted out,and a better theoretical basis is formed.Then to Beijing New Oriental English training school,20 middle managers and 3 senior managers of behavior event interview,using encoding technology,finally established the competency model of middle-level managers in the enterprise:team leadership,information gathering,communication ability,achievement motivation,English level,customer service,market awareness,creativity and work enthusiasm,and the use of concurrent review method to verify the model.This model is used for the selection,training and assessment of talents.This paper builds up a competency model of Beijing New Oriental English Training School of middle managers,middle managers to solve the post matching problems,improve the management of enterprise,and puts forward the competency of middle managers in English training industry based on the recruitment,training and remuneration and evaluation measures,in order to give long-term and efficient development the English industry effective suggestions,and help the same industry in the field,to achieve a virtuous cycle of development and effective management of company better.
