Study On The Strategic Development Of Changchun New Oriental School

China’s education reform has been a topic of commonplace discussion all the time.The reason why the education system has received so much attention in China is not only because of China’s long-term development over the years,but also because of the accumulation of history and culture.In recent years,my country’s population is currently in an aging state.In order to avoid this state and welcome the birth of the new population,China has gradually opened up the three-child policy.In July 2021,the General Office of CCCPC and the General Office of the State Council,PRC promulgated the document "Opinions on Further Reducing the Burden of Students’ Homework and Off-campus Training in Compulsory Education"（hereinafter referred to as "double reduction"）.In it,it is pointed out that teaching level of schools should be effectively improved.At the same time,all off-campus subject training will be closed,and off-campus non-subject training will be regulated to reduce the burden on students.In August,starting from Beijing,all discipline training on weekends and national statutory holidays was banned,and such training was strictly investigated.It can be seen that the release and implementation of the "double reduction" policy is strict and comprehensive.So as to cope with the impact of the "double reduction" policy,New Oriental Group has made a number of business adjustments.On August 6th,the EQO（Essential-qualities-oriented）education and child development center of New Oriental School has successively landed in Beijing,Hangzhou,Nanjing and other cities.The content includes 6 major modules,12 courses for students and 5 courses for parents,covering robotics,Chinese studies,fine arts,programming and other dimensions.Not only that,New Oriental Group has integrated all adult training businesses and established a university division to upgrade the four major sectors of English CET 4 and 6,postgraduate entrance exams,exams for going abroad,and vocational education.After the integration,New Oriental Group will mainly carry out two main lines of adult training and K12 business.Under the guidance of the group,Changchun New Oriental School also established the Children’s Quality Growth Center in September and the International Study Tour ＆ Camp Education Department in October.This paper discusses the problems existing in the development process of Changchun New Oriental School,especially in the face of the "double reduction policy",and proposes the development strategy of Changchun New Oriental School under the current circumstances based on strategic management theory,SWOT Analysis,PEST Analysis,and Porter’s Five Forces model.First of all,based on the specific requirements of the "double reduction policy" and the latest changes in the education industry,and with the current development of Changchun New Oriental School as a reference,summarize and put forward the current problems of Changchun New Oriental School,and find the reasons for the current deficiencies of Changchun New Oriental School,and analyze the most fundamental reasons for the obstruction of the development of Changchun New Oriental School;Second,analyze the internal and external environment of Changchun New Oriental School;Finally,based on SWOT analysis,the strategic goals of Changchun New Oriental School are formulated,and vertical integration of ST hybrid strategy are adopted to achieve the reasonable planning of the sustainable development of Changchun New Oriental School in the education and training market of Changchun Under the "double reduction policy".In addition,the measures and guarantees of Changchun New Oriental School under vertical integration of ST hybrid strategy are proposed,so as to realize the increase of economic benefits of Changchun New Oriental School in operation and promote the sustainable development of Changchun New Oriental School.
