The government work report in 2018 pointed out that the urbanization rate in China has reached 51.3%.Compared with 1978,the development speed in 40 years is twice the world average speed.Today, with the realization of rapid urbanization in our country, urban new immigrant groups have emerged as an important promoter of urbanization. This group has emerged from the late 1980 s and has maintained rapid growth. The scale has so far accounted for nearly one-fifth of the country’s population.Immigration into the city has undergone formal urbanization and transitional urbanization, and has finally achieved an important process of substantial urbanization. While bringing about economic growth, they also produced certain social problems, including the problems of adaptation of urban migrants themselves and urban social management problems. The most important issue is the social integration between urban residents and urban migrants. This has drawn the attention of academic researchers and government managers. The "2014 Government Work Report" clearly stated that it is necessary to promote the urbanization of the rural transfer population in an orderly manner. The academic field has also conducted a lot of research, including the analysis of economic adaptation, cultural and psychological adaptation, and political adaptation from multiple types of immigrant groups, all of whom are expected to find effective ways to promote social integration. In this context, the study focuses on the integration of new immigrants in the city.It is extremely important to find the factors that affect their adaptation. It is of great significance to improve the situation of new immigrants and promote the steady progress of urban society. After sorting out the research of the predecessors,we found the following deficiencies: First, the focus was mainly on labor-based immigration groups, and the study on other types of immigration was not sufficient;second, previous studies often used the measurement of the social integration status of immigration groups. The subjectively set indicators of the researcher are not real and objective facts, and lack of accuracy.Third,in the usual research, the urban immigration group as the research subject is in a complex social environment. It is often difficult to determine the cross-effects of various factors.Which factor is the real influencing factor in the end;Fourth, the predecessors’ social network research on urban migration is based on the analysis of the individual immigration network, focusing on the social capital brought about by the network rather than the situation reflected by the network itself; The previous studies lacked cases that were grasped from the perspective of the overall network, and individual networks were mainly targeted at white-collar immigrant groups.Based on this, this study selected rural residents with simpler social relations among urban immigrant groups as the survey subjects, using their class friends network as the research object, and adopting the methods of convenient sampling and whole class extraction for the three cities of Wuhan and Changsha.A total of 17 classes of freshman students from different levels of universities(Huazhong Agricultural University,Jianghan University,Hunan Railway Vocational and Technical College)were surveyed, and a total of three follow-up surveys were conducted each year. The survey is based on the analysis of the content of the class friends network of rural college students. It explores its characteristics and evolution through three follow-up tests and examines the tendency of rural college students to select friends in the class network. The results show that:(1)Self-employment will affect their tendency to choose friends.Rural college students have homogeneity in their choice of friends in the class, and are more willing to choose the same household registration as a friend. The degree of association between household registration and choice of friends remains throughout the year.Gradually weakened. As a result of household registration, the hidden growth environment, education level, and living habits play a role in varying degrees.(2)College students of different genders have the same performance in the process of establishing relationships among friends in the class. There is a similar preference, and they expect to make friends with people with similar backgrounds. However, the convergence of women in rural college students is greater than that of men.Sexuality is strong, that is,male rural college students have a higher degree of integration in their interactions with urban university students.(3)Among the transgender friendships in the class, the rural college students have better social integration with the urban university students than the same gender friendship. The students of different household registrations are basically not affected by the household registration when the opposite sex friend chooses.(4)During the one-year tracking period, the household registration and its multiple potential factors had a strong influence on the selection of friends in the classes of rural college students, and they were deeply entrenched.Rural college students showed significant convergence in the three surveys, and household registration was highly correlated with the choice of friends’ household registration.Although the degree of covariance in the three tests gradually weakened, even in a liberal and equal university class environment, from urban and rural areas. The college students still have the isolation and influence on household registration when they are dealing with themselves. The social integration between urban and rural students needs to be strengthened, and the process of promoting the integration of new immigrants and urban society has a long way to go.
