In November 2017,the Ministry of Education officially released the latest general high school curriculum plans and curriculum standards,pointing out that the biology curriculum should focus on the development of “subject literacy” and the “re-education of teaching process”.biology experiment as an important way to develop biological science literacy,the selection and design of the experimental teaching content will be followed by the corresponding change.Hong Kong and the mainland share the same origin and have been reforming education for nearly 20 years.Both education and education reform have achieved remarkable results in the world,and the high school biology teaching materials should also have some remarkable features,especially the selection and design features of the experimental content.Therefore,the author makes a comparative analysis of the experimental content of the current biology textbooks in Hong Kong and mainland China,and provides inspiration and reference for the compilation of experimental teaching contents of Chinese biology textbooks and the practice of high school experimental teaching.The first part compares the difference between experimental teaching and experimental writing in the curriculum standards of the two places using literature methods,comparative methods and other research methods from four aspects of curriculum philosophy,curriculum model,curriculum focus,and curriculum experimental evaluation.The second part analyzes and compares all the experiments contained in the same knowledge module in "Molecular and Cell" and "Genetics and Evolution" published by the publishers of Aristoron Publishing Co.,Ltd.and conducted by People's Education Press.From the experimental content,the number of experiments,experimental types,experimental materials,experimental safety,experimental illustrations,and experimental procedures,seven aspects were compared and analyzed in detail.In the third part,on the basis of the above comparative study,combined with the characteristics of the mainland,the author proposes suggestions and countermeasures for the compilation of the experimental part of the biological textbooks on the mainland and the teaching practice of biological experiments in the senior high school.In the compilation ofteaching materials,it is proposed to strengthen experimental safety education;human selection of experimental materials and attention to ethics;increase the number of illustrations,improve the quality of illustrations;simplify the experimental process,increase the openness of the experiment;adhere to the diversification of evaluation indicators,design experimental report book;Increase extracurricular activities;build a teaching material Internet platform,and increase the network of biological experiments and other seven recommendations.Based on the above analysis,the two most typical experiments,"Extracting and Separating Pigment in Chloroplasts" and "Testing for Reducing Sugar,Fat,and Protein in Plant Tissue," were optimized.In the aspect of experimental teaching,three suggestions are suggested: flexible use of experimental programs in teaching materials;reduction of lecture time in experimental classrooms;and emphasis on experimental teaching safety.It is hoped that this study will provide the necessary theoretical basis and inspiration for the compilation of high school biology textbooks and the experimental teaching of biology teachers.
