As an important part of the school management.student attendance is not only a way of examining students' performance in the school,but also can ensure the normal running of school teaching order and each of group activities,therefore,schools should strictly control the attendance statistics and make true its accuracy and comprehension.With the continuous development of the computer network technology,schools' management becomes more informational.Traditional attendance management system has lots of inevitable disadvantages in work efficiency and manpower distribution,so it no longer meets schools' development demand.Therefore,it is very important to develop a practical and efficient network management system of student attendance.To meet users' checking-in and integrated management demand,the system includes hardware(attendance machine)and software(attendance management system)two parts.Attendance machine will receive students' attendance data and transmit them to server database.Attendance management system includes functions of attendance statistics,attendance record query,attendance category setting,personal information input and print.Meanwhile Browser/Server model allows users to enter into the webpage of attendance system wherever and whenever they need without installing client-side.The system's instantaneity of remote browse and flexibility of information collection make the management becomes more transparent,timely,and efficient.Considering the disadvantages of the existing algorithms on fingerprint image matching method,the paper aimed at combining the directional diagram algorithm with K nearest neighbor algorithm during the match process of the fingerprint image.Using the forward idea of the improved algorithm,the system can not only effectively improve the matching speed and accuracy but also enhance the identification of pseudo fingerprints.The system uses Freemarker template technology so that it can separate interface from business logic,using MySQL database to achieve the storage of data,so it can elaborate the full range of JSP plus Java Beans technology combined with Browser/Server model in the network management system of student attendance.Based on the above,designing an easy operated,highly interactive,practical and reliable system.Network system combines the computer and network communication technology so that the data information can storage and flow in the database.Compared with the traditional manual attendance pattern,network system avoids the waste of human and material resources' input.Building a safe,reliable,efficient and convenient network management platform,therefore,the system can totally the work efficiency and promote the transformation to the paperless green office mode.
