Objective Based on the ICF-CY theoretical framework,This study is based on the ICF-CY theoretical framework, discusses the characteristics of functional disorders in children with ASD,and designs and implements exercise intervention programs under functional impairment assessment results,to analyze the effect of exercise interventions in children with ASD,To provide new ideas for the assessment and exercise intervention for children with ASD.Methods Literature review, case study, questionnaires, observations, and interviews had been used.Analysis of major functional disorders in children with ASD based on the ICF-CY core sets and the description of symptoms.Analysis of major functional disorders in children with ASD based on the ICF-CY core set classification and the symptom presentation, selecting a child with autism, assessing the functional disability based on the ICF-CY,designing and implementing a 3-month exercise intervention, and assessing the change of dysfunction and participation of children with ASD before and after exercise intervention. The effectiveness of exercise intervention programs. Results 1.According to the ICF-CY theory and method, the core symptoms of children with ASD are mainly manifested in the lack of interpersonal and verbal communication and mental motor dysfunction. In terms of body structure, manifestations of abnormal brain structure. In terms of body functions,it manifests as special mental functions and motor dysfunction.and In terms of activities and participation, there are obstacles such as interpersonal communication, flexible use of hands and arms, walking and moving, etc. In terms of environmental factors, there are unfavorable factors in the attitudes, support and interrelationships of families and societies,as well as services, institutions and policies.2.Exercise intervention focuses on the functional orientation of exercise content based on ICF-CY,including jump, ball games, running, resistance to small devices and blowing games, low and medium intensity sports,short-term multiples repetition training frequency.3.Exercise intervention can improve mood, attention, athletic performance, eye contact, communicative behavior, and stereotyped behavior of children with ASD and increase activity participation. Conclusion 1.Using ICF-CY to systematically analyze dysfunctions of children with ASD in terms of body function and structure, activities and participation,as well as environmental and personal factors, that can analyze the overall functional status of children with ASD.2.Based on the ICF-CY theory and method to design autonomic children’s adaptive exercise intervention program, focusing on children’s development level and exercise capacity, the specific content, time and intensity of exercise and the choice of guidance methods should be based on the development of children with ASD.The level and function status are determined, the content of the exercise should be rich and easy to implement, and more combined with life to improve the self-care ability of children with ASD.3.Exercise intervention can improve the behavior and effectively increase activity participation of children with ASD.
