| Objective:Based on the International Classification of Functioning,Disability and Heath for Children and Youth(ICF-CY)framework,this study evaluated the function of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD)by using the ICF-CY Self-care Sets and implemented the relevant sensory integration training intervention.The aim was to investigate and identify the effects of the sensory integration training intervention on functional rehabilitation of autistic children.Methods:Literature review,case study,questionnaire,observation and experimental method was applied in this study.Three children with ASD was selected in this study.The functional evaluation was assessed by ICF-CY Self-care Sets,followed with a subsequent 12-week sensory integration training intervention.The effects of intervention on functional rehabilitation of three participants was measured and analyzed.Results:1.In case A,the function of children was improved in item d161,d330,b1565,d430 and b 1261.2.The results show that children improved functions among item b1402,d330,b260,d435 and b1520 in case B.3.In case C,children demonstrate a significant changes in several items,including b1400,d310,b2700,d440 and b1522.Conclusion:1.In this study,the 12-week sensory integration training intervention has different impacts on functions of three children with ASD.2.In this study,the sensory integration training intervention is effective to improve functions of three children with ASD,including attention,communication,perception,sports function and mental health function.3.Implementing 12-week intervention has a positive feedback on improve emotional and behavioral problems among three children with ASD. |
