With the rapid development of China's economy and the ever-increasing scale of urbanization, land demand is increasing.A large number of agricultural land has been transformed into industrial land or urban construction land, resulting in a large number of land-lost farmers. After the land expropriation, the land-lost farmers lost their original living security and were forced to transfer their industries. However, the employment situation of the land-lost farmers was unsatisfactory, and the the source of follow-up living is unsustainable, which has brought both physical and spiritual pressure to land-lost farmers and families.Study the status quo of employability of land-lost farmers, find problems in the employability of land-lost farmers, analyze the causes of employability problems, provide policy advice for the government to solve these problems, help land-lost farmers to improve their employability, has important value and significance to improve living quality of the land-lost farmers and solve the social problems caused by.Through the empirical analysis by SPSS and AMOS,an index evaluation system for the status of employability of land-lost farmers was constructed. The current status of land-lost farmers' employability was divided into three dimensions: skills competence, individual factors, and the employment environment. It was found that skill competence accounted for the maximum proportion of employability of land-lost farmers, followed by individual factors and employment environment.Further analysis found that in terms of skills competency,land-lost farmers have low levels of education, lack of skills, and lack of social capital;in terms of personal factors,land-lost farmers have poor employment stability, high job expectations but lack of implementation mechanisms, and poor environmental adaptability;in terms of employment environment land-lost farmers' employment channels are not smooth, rights and interests are not protected, and government employment services are not in place. To analyze these problems, this study finds that long-term low-skilled characteristics of agriculture, unsound skills training mechanisms, and job characteristics cause skills barriers for land-lost farmers;traditionally engaged in agricultural concepts, serious social exclusion, and urban-rural differences have caused personal factors;the lack of employment policies, the unfairness of the urban and rural employment market, the weak sense of farmers' rights protection, and the tight market conditions of the labor force have caused the employment environment of land-lost farmers to be poor.Aiming at the problems and causes of land-lost farmers' employability status, this paper puts forward some policy suggestions: government leading to establish and perfect the farmers' education and training mechanism, improve the social security mechanism to promote the development of urban and rural areas, optimize the employment environment of land-lost farmers. This provides a useful reference for the government to solve the problems existing in the employability of land-lost farmers.
