Phonological encoding is an important process of speech production.Stuttering is a disorder of speech fluency that usually occurs in childhood.The main performance is repeated syllables,prolonged or interrupted speech in the speaking,which has an important influence on children's physical and mental development.In this study,we used the picture-word interference paradigm by auditory presenting to explore the differences between the 14 stuttering children and 15 non-stuttering children.Focused on the relationship between phonological encoding planning scope and verbal fluency.At the same time,we will discuss the debate between the covert repair hypothesis and the EXPLAN model.In the results:there was no difference between stuttering children and non-stuttering children in the naming task of double words reaction time,and there were differences in lexical interference.Through the discussion of the results,the following two conclusions are drawn:Firstly,In the naming task of double words,stuttering children phonological encoding not have defects.Secondly,the stuttering children completes the plan for two syllables before starting pronunciation,which is the same as non-stuttering children.Finally the stuttering children' the Blocking Mechanism is defective,and it affects the verbal fluency.According to the conclusion,we put forward the following three educational suggestions to the teacher:Firstly,conduct comprehensive attention and speech intervention training.Secondly,the simplification of teaching tasks.Finally,give the students enough time to think.
