The“ Curriculum Standard for Compulsory Education(2001 edition)”pointed out that writing ability is a comprehensive embodiment of individual language accomplishment,a core competence in the discipline of Chinese,and a basic ability for the development of modern people.Writing teaching is an important part of teaching activities and it is also one of the difficulties in language teaching.In order to explore the status quo of the writing of teaching,the survey of the status quo of primary school Chinese writing is carried out from the perspective of scaffolding teaching.The purpose is to enhance teachers' efficiency in teaching exercises and lay a foundation for improving the students' level of study.The direct theoretical basis of scaffolding teaching is Vygotsky's Recent Development Zone”theory.The relevant theoretical foundations are constructivist teaching theory,advanced organizer theory and Piaget cognitive development theory.Scaffolding teaching emphasizes the “subject” status and initiative development of students in the learning process.It is a widely used teaching model and also a teaching model that meets the goals of the new curriculum cultivators.Its five components,“Building a Stand,Creating Situations,Independent Exploration,Collaborative Learning,and Effect Evaluation” are also important links in the work of teaching.The investigation method and observation method were used to go into the primary language Chinese practice class and observe the teacher's teaching situation and the student's work process.Combine student questionnaires and teacher interview results to analyze and explain the teacher-students' survey results and observation results from the aspects of scaffold construction,creation of situation,independent exploration,collaboration and communication and effect evaluation.Based on the actual investigations,proposals for improving the teaching of Chinese writing in primary schools were proposed from the above five aspects.
