Previous research has already found that the maladjustment of ADHD students in primary school is closely related to their inability in task completion,narration and dialogue.Further,these inabilities are closely related to inappropriate parenting practices in modern Chinese society.In order to intervene the basic competence inabilities of maladjusted children deprived from parenting problems as soon as possible,this research focuseson maladjusted children in kindergarten.The analysis is based on the perspective of basic competence composition deprived from children's daily life activities.Four ecological evaluation tasks are designed to assess the basic competence problems of maladjusted kindergarten children,including task completion,storytelling from pictures,interpersonal interaction and delay of gratification.Primary intervention practices are also explored based on the comparison between three levels of adjustments of preschool children.The research has found out:1)the level of self-development is reflected in the basic competence of the preschool children.The maladjusted children can be divided into two groups with different problem mechanisms:weak self-regulation group and deviated meaning making construction group.2)both two groups have low level of sense of story and playfulness,which are important aspects of aestheticism development in young children and also of children's cultural potential development.This kind of weaknesses will impede children's involvement in intervention activities and also have bad effect on children's adjustment to school.According to the background information about parenting practice of maladjusted children,this research has also found that parenting practice lacking interpersonal interaction and task completion will lead to weakness in self-development;parenting practice with confusing and/or lacking value guidance and reaction will lead to children constructing inappropriate meanings;parenting practice lacking vivid and natural guidance of children's own culture will influence children's cultural potential development.
