With the deterioration of the ecological environment, the intensification of food safety problems, and the unhealthy lifestyle, the incidence of cancer diseases in China continues to rise. Many years of exploration and practice have made breakthroughs in cancer treatment, and the survival of many cancer patients has been extended. However, the psychosocial needs associated with the development of tumors are easily overlooked by society and even the patient groups themselves. The satisfaction of these needs affects the patient's therapeutic effect, but also affects the patient's psychological state and quality of life.It is an important indicator to measure the physical and mental health of cancer patients."Flow" refers to an emotional experience in which people show a strong interest in an activity or thing and can promote the individual's full involvement in an activity or thing. On the basis of satisfying certain specific characteristics and conditions, the promotion of “flow” can help clients cultivate a positive attitude and improve the quality of life.In this paper, combined with the characteristics of tumor patients,a patient from the radiotherapy department of a top-three hospital in J Province was selected as a case study to analyze and evaluate the application of “flow” in the promotion of cancer patients. The main body of the article takes the case service phase as the structural framework.Based on the assessment of the problems and needs of service users, the services pian and process are presented in five parts: the case acceptance phase, the relationship establishment phase, the "flow" experience and enhancement phase, the closing phase, and the follow-up phase. The content of each link is complete and thelinks between the links are progressive,so that the presentation of service effects is more complete and three-dimensional.Using questionnaires, the article translated the psychological and "flow" needs of cancer patients into data to provide a basis for the use of "flow" theory in case services. At the same time, using the "Flow State Scale(FSS)" to compare the "flow" state of individual subjects and using the intuitive data to show the actual effect of "flow" in the case service, these methods increasing the credibility of the study. In this study, the author hopes to improve the "flow" of cancer patient groups, tap the patient's potential, and use the "flow" as a means to increase the patient's subjective initiative in fighting disease. While improving the unfavorable psychological state associated with tumor diseases,it also promotes the maximization of therapeutic effects.Through psychological adjustment and enrichment of life content, life is transformed from a low-level "survival" to a high-quality "life".Take the effect of “flow” in the medical case studies as a breakthrough to explore new paths for social work in the medical field.
