The great leap between high school physics and college physics makes many freshmen feel difficult when they learn college physics;the link between physics and college physics is being paid more and more attention by the physical education workers.Most of the literatures have been studied from the course content and learning methods,less research is done from the perspective of mathematical tools.And most of the literatures are periodical articles.In combination with my three years of high school physics teaching experience and college physics learning experience,the difficult points are summed up.Based on the above three points of thinking,it is determined that the link between high school physics and college physics should be studied from the perspective of mathematical tools.The connection between college physics and high school physics is not only the connection of knowledge,but also the difference between the students' psychological cognition level and logical thinking ability,and the difference between college life and high school career.On the basis of a large number of related literature,this study uses content analysis,comparative analysis,questionnaire survey and interview,and so on,from the perspective of mathematical tools to study the cohesion of college physics and high school physics.A questionnaire is designed to investigate the present situation of college physics learning.It is concluded that the biggest difficult point in college physics learning is the use of higher mathematics tools.Then we redesign the questionnaire on the impact of the specific knowledge points of higher mathematics on the academic performance of college physics.It is concluded that calculus and analytic vectors are the most influential knowledge points in college physics.With the method of content analysis and comparative analysis,the specific deduction and use of the same knowledge point in high school physics textbooks and college physics textbooks are compared and analyzed in detail,and the differences and relations between the use of mathematical tools are compared.Then it compares the examples of the same type in high school physics textbooks and College Physics Textbooks in detail,compares the specific differences between the use of mathematical tools,and explains the convenience of Higher Mathematics for college physics.The conclusion is that university physics mainly uses advanced mathematics,and the most important are calculus and analytic vector.High school mathematics curriculum is the foundation of the establishment of calculus,but high school physics does not require the use of higher mathematical knowledge to calculate,so it is suggested that high school physics teachers should be taught when teaching more advanced mathematics to solve practical physical problems and methods.
