A Research On The Connection Of Science Course In Primary School And Physics In Middle School

Science is an integrated curriculum which plays a role in the enlightenment of students' scientific literacy.The science is the foundation for students to learn physics.However,the science and physics curriculums in Jiangsu Province are set in elementary and junior high school separately with a time gap.So,it is possibly for people to ignore the relationship between science and physics and it will result in a lack of consistency in the cultivation of students' scientific literacy.This paper makes a research on the effective connection between the science course in primary school and the physics course in junior middle school in Jiangsu province.The research is guided by curriculum standards?Zone of proximal development?constructivism to study the connection between two curriculums,and raise certain connection strategy from the following aspects:curriculum standards ?textbooks?interviews of teachers and students.First of all,look up relevant literature to understand similar research methods and ways to determine the purpose and significance of this study.The second part is to compare two courses on the curriculum concept?teaching goal?teaching content,and find that certain connection has been in the curriculum standars.Subsequently,three plates have been summed up as "objects and material","motion and force","energy" from the contents of two courses and are analyzed comparatively one by one.The analysis result shows that the content between the two courses have the relationship of progressive,repeating,complementing and fault.And then interview the teachers and students to understand their attitudes towords the connection between the two courses.Finally,the paper put forward three strategies for the connection of primary school science teaching and junior middle school physics teaching.
