To carry out bilingual teaching in ethnic minority areas is an important measure of education of ethnic minorities in China,an important strategy implemented in China to realize the common development of all ethnic groups,after years of exploration and efforts,the current bilingual education of ethnic minorities in China has achieved certain results,and made great contribution to the training of ethnic minority talents.As one of the areas inhabited by ethnic minorities,Xinjiang is the key area of bilingual education.The Uighur population in Xinjiang area occupies the largest proportion,so the key research content in bilingual teaching in Xinjiang is Uygur and Han Bilingual teaching.Bilingual education has yielded some results,but when it comes to the practice of bilingual teaching,the effect of some subjects in bilingual teaching is still not ideal,there are also certain problems in the process of practising bilingual teaching,the teaching quality is still affected by many factors.If not given enough priority,and certain measures are not taken in time to optimize and improve,the bilingual teaching in area will have difficulty in developing in a long term.Based on this,this paper takes physics as an example,carried out research and discussion,using comprehensive methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and interviews,aiming at the existing problems of Uighur bilingual physics teaching practice in middle schools in Xinjiang,various factors affecting the Uighur bilingual physics teaching quality,and the effective strategy of optimizing Uighur bilingual physics teaching.The research finds the problems in physics teaching is students' lack of enthusiasm in physics learning,teachers' little using of Chinses language,lack of innovation of teaching methods,imperfect teaching evaluation system and so on.In the current stage,Uighur bilingual physics teaching quality is affected by various factors,such as family,teachers,students,teaching resources and teaching management.Effective measures to optimize Xinjiang middle school Uighur bilingual physics teaching are(1)base on students' actual situation,enhance students' enthusiasm in learning pgysics,(2)focus on the team building of teachers,strengthen teachers' teaching ability,(3)optimize the use of Uighur bilingual physical teaching resources,promote the teaching method innovation,(4)strengthen the teaching management,build an excellent bilingual physics teaching evaluation system.These four methods will help improve the teaching quality of Uighur bilingual teaching of physics in Xinjiang middle schools.
