In recent years,with the development of the Internet and information industry,the society has entered the era of big data.People become to aware of the existence and application of massive data in various industries.Under the background of information age,people often need to make reasonable decisions based on a large number of unorganized data in uncertain situations,so data analysis literacy is becoming more and more important for every citizen.In 2017,the general high school mathematics curriculum standards promulgated by the Ministry of education.And one of the core literacy of the six mathematics subjects is data analysis.Data analysis literacy is becoming more and more important.So,what is the actual level of data analysis literacy for high school students?What about the students' attitude and interest in probability and statistical knowledge?They are the basis for the teaching of probability and statistics and the formulation of the teaching strategy of probability and statistics.They are also an important reference for the curriculum reform and teachers in high school.Firstly,by consulting data,sorting out references both at home and abroad,combined with "high school mathematics curriculum standard",we define the concept of data analysis literacy,and divide it into different levels.Then,through many discussions and modifications,a high reliability and high efficiency test volume was compiled,and then a senior middle school student in a demonstration middle school in Hubei province was selected as the research object.After the test is completed,we used SPSS and other statistical software to deal with data,and the research results are obtained,and the corresponding suggestions are put forward.In the study,we found that most of the students' level of data analysis literacy was high,and up to 94%of the students were at the level of zero or above.That is,most students can understand random phenomena and probability statistics problems.They can choose probability models and explain stochastic problems in specific situations,and understand the importance of data analysis literacy in the era of big data.At the same time,we find that the level of data analysis literacy is significantly related to the students'usual math scores.Besides,there are great differences between science and liberal arts classes,as same as boys and girls.In the survey of learning attitude and habits about data analysis,we find that only a small number of students have statistical experience,some students are not interested in the knowledge of probability and statistics.Most students can understand the uncertain thinking in probability and statistics knowledge,but students seldom use computers or calculators when they deal with data.On the basis of the above research results,the following suggestions on how to improve the level of data analysis attainment of the senior two students.The teaching of probability and statistics should be aimed at improving the level of data analysis attainment We should pay attention to the gender differences between boys and girls and take different teaching methods for them,promote the balanced development between different class;carry out statistical activities;improve teachers' attention to the quality of data analysis and improving students' interest in learning.
