Zhang Bo Ling was born in a family private school in Tianjin in 1876.He is a great patriotic educator who devoted his life to education and saving the country.He created a series of Nankai schools,promoted the spirit of patriotism and cultivated a large number of talents.Moral education is the core of his educational thoughts.This paper endeavors to study Zhang Boling's thoughts of moral education,summarize its content,characteristics and implementation methods.It also explores the present situation of moral education of middle school students in China and the inspiration of Zhang Boling's thoughts on middle school students.This paper is divided into five parts.The introduction part of the text includes the research background,research significance,research review and research methods in several aspects.Based on Zhang Boling's background and the influence of Li Hongzhang,Yan Fu,Yan Xiu,Japanese and American educational thought and other foreign cultures and traditional Chinese culture,the first part analyses the conditions of the formation of Zhang Boling 's thoughts of moral education.The second part of the article is about Zhang Boling's patriotism education thought,personality and behavior normative education thought,social ideal education thought,knowledge of Chinese service China's moral education concept,moral education goal,moral education policy and so on,sums up the main content of Zhang Boling's moral education.The third part is the method and Zhang Bo-ling's practice of moral education,including the method of moral education with both thoughts and action,the method of recessing education by means of action,the method of carrying out various social practices,develop the basic principles of training personnel based on the purpose of public education,cultivate modern talents,set up moral compulsory courses on the basis of sports and campus culture,activities to commemorate national shame,the action of teachers and other measures.The fourth part is about the inspiration of Zhang Boling's moral education thought on the current moral education of middle school students.It mainly includes moral education as the fundamental,emphasizes the primary position of moral education,insists on patriotism and the integration of education,emphasizes the practice of moral education,strengthens the education of the present development situation of China,which provides material to cultivate students' patriotism.
