Research On Social Work Practice For Promoting Vocational Skills Of Mild Persons With Intellectual Disabilities

People with intellectual disabilities are the special social groups with a large number of people with disabilities.As they age,they face a variety of needs,especially in employment.Looking at the employment patterns of people with intellectual disabilities,it can be seen that the sheltered employment model is widely used in the enployment of disabled persons,and the promotion of professional skills constitutes a key link in sheltered employment,which is of great significance in promoting the successful employment of disabled persons.Based on the theory of energizing energy,this article takes the sheltered enployment manual beading group at the X Center in Kunming as an example to provide services from the learning and promotion of manual beading skills for the mentally handicapped,mutual assistance and cooperation among members,and establishment of a social environment support system.From the perspective of social work,assisting people with intellectual disabilities to enhance their professional skills while stimulating them to achieve empowerment.Guided by the practical methods of social work,this paper uses a combination of individual social work and small group work.On the one hand,it designs targeted individual support service plans by assessing the capabilities and needs of people with intellectual disabilities.On the other hand,it focuses on the use of sheltered employment to guide people with intellectual disabilities through the use of centralized skills training in the practice of group work.Related professional skills,and in this process,develop emotional interactions among people with intellectual disabilities and promote effective communication methods.Under the guidance of energizing theory,explore the skills of enpowerment of people with intellectual disabilities in the Kunming X Center for asylum-seeking employment skills,and study the roles and professional values of the involvement of social work professionals in the development of case and group practice.Under the social work to help people with intellectual disabilities to enhance professional skills effective service modelThrough the social worker's evaluation of the service practice,the assessment results show that the manual beading skills of the social work intervention cases have achieved certain results;at the same time,it is worthwhile to promote the professional skills of the people with intellectual disabilities through group practice..Therefore,the study finds that the purpose of combining the practical methods of the case and the group to improve the professional skills of persons with intellectual disabilities is achievable.However,the author also found that the promotion of professional skills for people with intellectual disabilities involved in social work,and that the group to achieve better employment also encountered many obstacles,and it needs constant reflection.
