At present,the total number of disabled people in China has reached about 85 million,and mental disability groups account for a large proportion in the whole group of disabled people.Some experts predict that there will be more disabled people in the future.As a special group,the mental disability group is likely to suffer from mental inferiority due to the exclusion of social reality and physical reasons.These problems directly affect the mental health of the mental disability group and give rise to many other mental problems.As one of the members of social life,the mental disability group has the same rights as other able-bodied people to participate in social life.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to take the mental disability group as the research object and study the mental problems and solutions of the group.This study selected the sunshine station mild mental disabilities as the research object,through methods such as interviews and participatory observation to understand the service object status poor self-esteem,designed to identity theory as guidance to enhance self-identity-to improve external service path identification,combining with the service object the reality to carry out the six group activities for its intervention.The results and process of the intervention showed that: guided by the identity theory,the group work method was effective in the intervention of the self-confidence of the patients with mild mental disability,and the level of self-cognition,self-acceptance and self-evaluation of the service objects were improved.But at the same time,the group work under the guidance of identity theory also has application limitations.Therefore,it is of practical significance to continue to explore the application path of enhancing the self-confidence of people with mild mental disability from the perspective of identity in practice.
