Since the Ministry of Education promulgated the <Standards of Senior School Chemistry Curriculum(experiment)> in 2003,the reform of senior high school chemistry curriculum aimed at improving students' scientific literacy has been widely carried out in the region of Xinjiang. However,in recent years, the new curriculum concept aimed at cultivating students' core literacy has posed a new challenge to senior high school chemistry education in the region of Xinjiang. In order to adapt to the new round of high school chemistry curriculum reform based on core literacy as soon as possible,we put forward the "six-step" learning model based on the idea of "doing science" in the chemistry classroom of HX Middle School in the 13 th Division of Xinjiang Corps. This model takes students as the center, breaking the traditional mechanical learning method, and dividing the students into three responsibility groups: discovery group, inquiry group and innovation group.Through "eye movement observation","hands-on activities" and "brain working",students become the masters of classes, which can also cultivate students' correct values, key characters and key abilities,so as to achieve the goal of developing students' core literacy of chemistry. After learning about the current situation and theoretical basis of core literacy research both at home and abroad are studied through literature research method, this paper has elaborated the negative factors in the core literacy development for students from the 13 th Division of Xinjiang Corps,as well as the construction and the implementation strategy of the "six-step" study pattern on basis of "doing science" in chemistry classes;analyzed the influence of this model on students' chemical achievement by comparing the chemical scores of the experimental class and the control class;explored the degree of the development of the model to the students' chemistry core accomplishment by questionnaire method, observation method and interviewing method;and finally got the "six-step" learning model based on the concept of "doing science".According to the research, the implementation of "six-step" study pattern can enhance students' interest on chemistry;strengthen students' cooperation and exploration capabilities;improve the most students' chemistry scores and core literacy to help them meet the new curriculum standards better and adapt to the reform of new college entrance examination enrollment system faster. At the same time, some problems were found in the implementation of the learning model, such as the survey sample was too single.the scope of research is not wide enough, and the theoretical basis is not perfect enough, etc.According to the problems in the research, some concrete improvements and suggestions are put forward: first of all, strengthen the teachers' classroom control, and cooperate with the responsibility groups properly to complete the teaching progress of the new curriculum standard;secondly, improve the teachers' comprehensive accomplishment, and strengthen the training of ethnic minority teachers to help promote the learning model in the region of Xinjiang widely;thirdly, encourage more aspiring young people to actively devote themselves to the areas such as Xinjiang where basic education is weak for the sake of the development of the motherland and its own growth,to help promote the development of students' core literacy with their youth and blood, and to contribute their own strength!...
