In recent years,education reforms around the world have been devoted to the development of students' comprehensive literacy.Research and development of students' "core literacy" has become a hot topic in the international education community.In order to adapt to this trend,various countries are actively exploring the reform of teaching methods.The "5E Learning Circle" teaching model proposed by the American curriculum research team has received a high degree of attention in the field of science education.Compared with the traditional teaching mode,it is more conducive to improving students' "core literacy",learning interest and academic achievement.This paper is guided by theoretical research,based on questionnaire survey and experimental research as a means,two parallel classes in the first grade and two parallel classes in the second grade are selected as the research objects.The experimental class uses the "5E learning Circle" teaching mode for teaching.The control class selects the traditional teaching mode for teaching.The experimental results show that the implementation of the “5E Learning Circle” teaching mode in the chemistry classroom has obviously promoted the improvement of the core literacy of the students' chemistry disciplines,which is reflected in the improvement of the four aspects of chemical knowledge,chemical ability,chemical thinking and methods,and chemical spirit.I hope that this research can provide a practical reference for frontline teachers to cultivate the core literacy of high school students' chemistry disciplines.
