Research On The Development Path Of Wudang Taiyi Wuxing Quan

Wudang Wushu,as an indispensable part of the Chinese martial arts,is the excellent traditional cultural heritage of the Chinese nation.Wudang Taiyi Wuxing Quan(formerly known as "Wuxing Escapement twenty-three")was first discovered in1980 s,as a set of authentic Wudang Quan,known as the "name of Wudang Quan".Although in the past more than 30 years,the researchers have made great efforts for Wudang Wushu,which includes writing books,inheriting techniques,and the choreography of standard routine,its unique technique style and value of fitness and health care has been inherited and developed widely or not,is still a problem.Nowadays,in the backgrounds of frequent international exchanges,the comprehensive revival of traditional culture and the standardization of Wudang Wushu,it will provide a powerful evidence for Wudang Taiyi Wuxing Quan to carry forward the excellent and representative Wudang Quan,enhance the connotation of Wudang Wushu culture,strengthen the exchanging with other countries and regions about Wushu,consolidate the foundation of China’s cultural soft power,and promote the further development of Wudang Taiyi Wuxing Quan,which is also the new direction for the development of Wudang Wushu in the new era.In this paper,the writer uses the methods of literature,interview,field investigation,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and so on to analyze the development present situation,figure out the main factors affecting the development,and explore the development path of Wudang Taiyi Wuxing Quan.In the process of the study,the writer has firstly interviewed the eighteenth generation descendant Yang Qunli,sorting out the origin,development,basic technology,characteristics and value of Wudang Taiyi Wuxing Quan.Secondly,the writer has interviewed the director of Wudangshan Martial Arts Bureau,and the nineteenth generation descendant Qin Xianping,the twentieth generation descendant Qin Xia in Danjiangkou city,and the masters and students in Wushu training centers in the areas around Wudang mountain,collecting the materials about the development status of Wudang Taiyi Wuxing Quan.Finally,the writer analyzes the collected interview data and questionnaire.All the above provide a strong evidence for the in-depth study of the paper,according to which,the writer has summed up the four main problems,that is,(one)the technical differences,lack of theoretical research,(two)single inheritance,lack of technical communication,(three)general promotion,the promotion path is single,(four)resource diversification,integration awareness is weak.The writer takes the main problems in the inheritance and development of Wudang Taiyi Wuxing Quan as a starting point,boldly attempts to put forward the development paths under the background in the new era,which are,1.Facing the problem of technical differences and lack of theoretical research.We should take the "scientific system" as the path to improve the theoretical value.We should deepen technical research,build a systematic and comprehensive technology system,integrate theory with practice,attach importance to the empirical research of fitness value,and study the relationship between interdisciplinary research and traditional medicine.2.Facing the simplification of inheritance and the lack of technical exchange.We should take the "harmony but different" as the path to widen the competition channel.To build grassroots competition platform to improve the atmosphere of practicing Wushu,rely on the gradual promotion of traditional Wushu competition,and accelerate the pace of standardization of Wudang Wushu.3.Facing the generalization of propaganda,the problem of single path.We should expand social influence on the path of "keeping pace with the times".We should strengthen the media publicity,improve the social impact,walk into the life of the masses,rammed the mass foundation,and develop excellent martial arts products.4.Facing the problem of resource decentralization and weak integration of consciousness.We should promote the cooperation of "production,learning and research" by "seeking truth and pragmatism" as the path.Build Internet platform and help enhancing the public cultural services,based on professional Wushu colleges,radiate the surrounding schools,and promote the development of Wudang Wushu standardization in Confucius Institute.
