An Experimental Study On The Influence Of Social Interaction Environment And Job Nature On General Trust

Using papers of Paxton,Glanville,Hu Anning and Zhou Yi for reference,the effect of social interactive environment and job nature on generalized trust is studied using experimental and interview methods by measuring social interactive environment and job nature.Results show that social interactive environment has effect on generalized trust,trust improves when subjects experience social interactive environment with high level of trust,and generalized trust falls when subjects experience social interactive environment with low level of trust.Whatever social interactive environment has been experienced,generalized trust of subjects with low-level initial trust varies more evidently,and generalized trust of subjects with high-level initial trust appears stable.Job nature has effect on generalized trust,and compared with people working in private sectors,people working in public sectors enjoy higher level of generalized trust.Job nature moderates the relationship between social interactive environment and generalized trust,and social interactive environment has less effect on generalized trust for those people who work in public sectors.
