The Folk Culture Of Spring Festival In The Rural Areas Of Central Shandong Province From The Angle Of Anthropology

The abundance and convenience of substance,the closing enough to touch delicacy,the freewheeling satisfaction of new clothes,and the simplification of rituals turn the the Spring Festival into "Tacky Festival".After thousands of years of inheritance,the most desirable traditional festivals have become more and more dull,boring,and vulgar,as what the whole society is rethinking.The writer who has been trained in anthropology is even more worried.Inspired by Wangmingming's hometown anthropology,the writer go back to the village of central Shandong province,where he was born and grew up,with the question "why the atmosphere of Spring Festival is not strong”.And then give a cultural interpretation of Spring Festival Customs in Rural Areas from an anthropological perspective,find out the root cause of "why the atmosphere of Spring Festival is not strong",and at last seek the effective way to pass on the Spring Festival Customs and Culture.The first part of this article introduces the historical and geographical location of central Shandong province and Liujiamiao villages,the funeral custom in laiwu area,and recalls the quiet,warm and peaceful liujiamiao village before industrialization.And then contrapose the Spring Festival customs in the countrysideof central Shandong province,the period from the beginning of December to the second day of February is divided into three stages according to the transition rites model:busy years-time,preparation and purification at the end of the year;New Year's Eve,ceremony and taboos during liminal rites;welcome the arrival of the New Year,postliminal rites and new display,and then an analysis is done with anthropological perspective.The reason of the "two and a half days" time of "A party for the dead" in Liujiamiao Village and its surrounding villages is explained with the relevant theories of acculturation;the root cause of“why the atmosphere of Spring Festival is not strong”is analyzed with the functionalism theory;the ritual content of "Paper Horse" was analysed with Geerzi's cultural explanation.And finally,the discussion and thinking is took out:What is the original purpose of the rural culture of the Spring Festival,what are the ways to carry forward the culture of the old culture,and what is the basis for the promotion of traditional culture,answer the original question of this article.Finally,the anthropological interpretation of "Take the funeral seriously,thinking of the ancestors,and the people's morality returned to thick" was made.
