With the development of the open reform of teacher education in China,there is an urgent need to establish a teacher education quality assurance system,and teacher education professional certification is an important means to protect the quality of teacher education.At the international level,the experience of countries such as the United States,Britain,and Australia has preliminarily proved the role and value of teacher education professional certification,and their related measures have also provided useful inspiration for the development of China's teacher education certification.The academic community has already conducted these countries' A lot of research.Based on this,the study selected Canada as the target country and the Ontario Province of the country as a case to analyze the historical development,certification standards and methods of teacher education professional certification through the literature method,in order to review the experience and lessons of Canadian teacher education professional certification.Provide reference and reference for our country in the professional certification system.This article is specifically divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly includes the research background,research problems,current research status,research significance,research objectives and methods.The second part is the rise and development of Canadian teacher education accreditation.It mainly describes the history development of the teacher education system and professional accreditation institutions.And then clarifies the concept of Canadian teacher education accreditation and clarifies its characteristics.The third part presents Canadian current accreditation standards for teacher education in the province,analyzes the elements and structure of the standards,and clarifies the basic characteristics of the standard.The fifth part explores the methods for the certification of Canadian teacher education,including clarifying the composition and characteristics of its accreditation body and the object,as well as the specific accreditation process and its basic characteristics.The fifth part is the enlightenment and reference of Canadian teacher education certification.Summarize its experience and problems,and optimize our country's teacher education accreditation strategies.Research founding: The study found that:(1)The effectiveness of Canada's teacher education program accreditation: There was a significant improvement in the expansion of teacher education and the number of new teacher training which was also lay emphasis on the needs of all interested parties.(2)The existing problems in Canadian teacher education accreditation: the problem of inconsistent coordination between regions and countries;the conflict between deregulation and specialization under neo-liberalism;the problem of how to establish effective mechanisms in the evaluation methods of curriculum standards.(3)The basic experience of Canada's teacher education program accreditation: From the view of the subject and object of accreditation,the scientific nature of the accreditation body is conducive to the establishment of a fair and equitable certification environment;view from accreditation standards,attention should be paid to the combination of diversity and unity of the core curriculum standards and the practicality of the accreditation scheme;from the perspective of the accreditation method,the accreditation efficiency should be the focus of the accreditation process.(4)To optimize Strategies of teacher education program accreditation in our country that include: first,establish third-party institutions and strengthen dialogue among all parties;second,pay attention to the construction of program accreditation “entry” standards;third,reform the standards for teacher education accreditation;Fourth,build a scientific program accreditation procedure.
