Teachers' Autonomy-Support refers to teachers support students' autonomy,namely,students decided how to study.According to Self-Determination Theory,researchers argue that there are three basic psychological needs in human,namely: autonomy-need,competence-need and relatedness need,making people to live for the satisfaction of these three psychological needs,which is important for the individual's healthy development.Many studies found that,compared with controlling teaching,autonomy-supportive teaching can satisfy the students' needs,and has a positive impact on students' academic.According to Self-Determination Theory,this study takes the mathematics and Chinese teachers and students of four classes of the fifth grade in Inner Mongolia Primary School as the research object.Through the intervention to improve the students' perception of the teachers' autonomy-support level,the basic psychological needs satisfaction,intrinsic motivation,engagement and academic achievement.The purpose of this study is to deepen the study of teachers' autonomy-support based on the self-determination theory,and to provide guidance for primary school teachers to promote their academic performance(internal motivation,investment and academic achievement)through intervention training and dynamic monitoring.The results showed:1.The Teachers' Autonomy-Support Intervention did not significantly improved the frequency of teachers' self support behavior in the experimental group assessed by observers,but significantly increased the experimental group's students' perceived level of teachers' autonomy-support.2.The Teachers' Autonomy-Support Intervention significantly improved the experimental group's students' perception of the teachers' autonomy-support level,basic psychological needs satisfaction,intrinsic motivation and engagement.3.The Teachers' Autonomy-Support Intervention significantly improved the experimental group's students' academic achievement.
