The novel is called the "encyclopedia of life" and is one of the key points of Chinese teaching.However,in the present novel classes,there are often simple and vulgar ways of thinking,both irrational and illogical.And students lack the ability to think actively,explore deeply and judge independently.Critical reading teaching requires teachers to adopt a certain strategy,help the students to raise questions,prove theories and evaluate accurately,which is one of the ways to improve students' reading competence.Based on relevant theories about critical reading and teaching,together with some practice examples,the paper aims to fundamentally improve the quality of the novel-reading teaching.The thesis is divided into five parts:The introduction Outlines the research background,in the novel teaching of high school promotes critical reading and meaning,the purpose of the critical reading teaching of high school novel research the main content and method,in the current critical reading at home and abroad and its teaching were reviewed,in order to can be more objective on the basis of discussion.The first chapter,this paper introduces the concept of critical reading teaching,the characteristics and theoretical basis.Clear critical thinking,critical reading and critical reading teaching the connotation of the core concepts;To clarify the characteristics of critical reading teaching,uphold the rational,independent thinking and open democracy,tolerance,mutual,and carry out the necessity of critical reading in novel teaching,shows the value of critical thinking in reading fiction;Combing the theory of critical reading teaching,make the novel reading teaching more scientific and normative.The second chapter analyzes the current situation of critical reading teaching in novels of high school.In the teaching process,students' critical thinking is not fully cultivated,and teachers' understanding and evaluation of characters,plots,scenes and themes of the novel have some shortcomings.The third chapter,mainly puts forward the corresponding teaching strategies,including novels of high school two aspects of principle and method of critical reading teaching.In the teaching principle,according to the stylistic feature of the novel,with the purpose of the critical reading code.On the teaching methods,combined with concrete practice example,advocates the questions and argumentation,evaluation method,etc.Analysis of critical inquiry,began in question,the teacher in many other aspects of characters,plot,setting,theme specific how to ask questions,the standard and type of good question,and how to stimulate students to question and develop the students' ability of asking questions;In the argument,encouraging students to a point,has according to,effectively avoid one-sided interpretation and misreading of itself;In the evaluation level,reflection and evaluation of the content of the novel text,both experience and reflection,improve the cognition of self.The fourth chapter,this paper summarizes the author a little practice of the daily teaching,show teaching strategy implementation process,and provide instructions,explain the teaching mission of formulation and the implementation of the teaching process two aspects.To reflect on teaching practice,summarize there are three deficiencies: fiction is the history of the soul,questions should be derived from the student mind;Character conflict lies in the idea,argument should comply with the human reason;Theme contains a variety of understanding,evaluation should be tends to speculative.
