In recent years,in recent years,with the rapid development of the Internet,the emergence of hot news and explosive news,and at the same time,the frequent reversal of public opinion by the Internet has gradually attracted the attention of the society,academia and the general public.From 2013 to mid-2015,Xinhuanet selected the “Top Ten Reversal News” for the third consecutive year,and the People's Daily public opinion channel also collated the 2016 hotspot reversal events.This article is based on 35 public opinions from 2013 to 2016.Turning events,using the latest research method in the academic community-Qualitative Comparative Analysis(QCA),hopes to explore the intrinsic mechanism of the reversal of online public opinion.This article attempts to adopt a multidisciplinary theory such as public administration,communication,and psychology,and adopts methods such as qualitative comparative analysis,content analysis,and literature analysis,in order to study the phenomenon in an all-round and objective manner.After sorting through the literature,the author identified the “event category”,“tagging”,“event location” in the “event properties”,and the “original media attributes”,“leadership leader” and “reverse media” in “propagation properties”."Attributes" are the key factors affecting the occurrence of reversal events in the Internet public opinion.Through the manual analysis of the 35 cases in the case database and the input of fs/QCA2.0,the three key variable combinations affecting the reversal of the network public opinion are summarized through the concise solution obtained after the software is run.The resulting complex scheme found four microscopic pathways for the reversal of cyber public opinion.In addition,four conclusions were drawn:(1)The above six factors are all important factors affecting the reversal of public opinion in the internet.(2)The combination of the key variables with the largest coverage is that there are obvious labels * The place where the incident occurred is for overseas or big cities * The first media is new media * The reversal media is traditional media.(3)"Event attribute" is more effective than "propagation attribute" in the occurrence of network reversal events.(4)Opinion leader's "limited effect theory."On this basis,this paper further discusses the positive and negative effects of the reversal of online public opinion,and makes targeted attempts to prevent and guide the reversal of network public opinion from the government,the media,and the public.
