Modeling Of Online Public Opinion Reversal And Multi-dimensional Polarization Phenomenon

With the increase in public awareness of social participation and the rapid development of mobile Internet technology,the public has become increasingly active in participating in discussions on hot social topics.After a hot event occurs,people will form an initial attitude toward the event based on the information they have obtained,and communicate with others through online forums,discussion groups,etc.,and make public opinion continuously develop to a climax in disputes or affirmations with others.This forms the phenomenon of polarization of public opinion.After the phenomenon of public opinion polarization occurs,under the influence of related information,public opinion reversal or multi-dimensional public opinion polarization will be further formed,and a series of cyber violence and extreme mass incidents will be derived,which will cause great harm to social stability.Based on the related research results of public opinion polarization,this paper further conducts in-depth and expanded research on public opinion reversal and multi-dimensional public opinion polarization.The specific contents are as follows:(1)Research on the public opinion reversal model that integrates external intervention information and individual internal characteristics.First,identify the internal and external factors that affect the reversal of public opinion,that is,the individual's internal characteristics and external intervention information.Secondly,it introduces information intensity and individual perception indicators to describe the influence of external intervention information on public opinion reversal.Then define the individual attention and conservativeness parameters to describe the individual's own selection process of external information,reveal the influence of its internal characteristics on public opinion reversal,and then construct a public opinion reversal model.And through simulation experiments,the influence of information intensity,individual attention and individual conservativeness on the process of public opinion reversal is analyzed.(2)Multi-dimensional public opinion polarization process modeling under topic-derived context.First,identify the influencing factors of multi-dimensional public opinion polarization,including the mutual influence between topics of different dimensions and the interaction of opinions within topics of the same dimension.Secondly,the topic correlation coefficient is introduced to describe the correlation between topics of different dimensions,and individual topic support is used to measure the influence of topics of different dimensions and external intervention information on individual attitudes,and then the multi-dimensional attitude interaction rules are further integrated to construct a multi-dimensional public opinion polarization model.Then through simulation experiments,it analyzes the influence of individual participation topic status,topic correlation coefficient,external intervention information,etc.on the process of multi-dimensional public opinion polarization.Based on the related theories of public opinion polarization,this paper conducts in-depth and extensive research on public opinion reversal and multi-dimensional public opinion polarization,and analyzes the factors that affect public opinion reversal and multi-dimensional public opinion polarization through experimental simulation.At the same time,the effectiveness of the model is further verified with relevant actual cases,and it has certain practical significance for predicting the evolution trend of online public opinion and responding to public emergencies.
