The cognition of geographical space is a basic ability of human,including three elements: geographical space orientation,geographical space presentation mode and geographical space relationship reasoning.It plays a very important role in the process of cultivating people with perfect personality and all-round development.In Xishuangbanna Dai autonomous prefecture in yunnan province Mengban town nine-year integrated school with Dai Hani Yao seventh grade students construct school characteristics of geographical spatial cognition as the research object,to understand geography class to listen in three ethnic minorities students’ learning situation,again through the test of all the students in grade seven geographical spatial cognitive testing,to find a suitable Dai,Hani and Yao’s six students,case to three months of tracking observation,interview and experiment teaching strategy suggest,at the same time test comparison analysis and case study of the students’ tracking investigation and research,the combination of the conclusion,puts forward Suggestions for the teaching strategy.At present,there are few studies on students’ geographical spatial cognitive characteristics,and fewer comparative studies on minority students’ geographical spatial cognitive characteristics.This paper uses a lot of fieldwork,of the seventh grade students of Yao Dai Hani characteristics of geographical spatial cognition comparison,makes up for the characteristics of geographical spatial cognition of minority students.However,this paper is limited by some objective conditions,so it is a pity that it cannot conduct more comprehensive and in-depth research.
