In 1895,when China was defeated in the Sino-Japanese War,the Taiwan region of China was occupied by Japan and the period of Japanese colonial rule began.During the Japanese occupation time,preschool education sprouted in the Taiwan region,and the education of preschool teachers gradually began to rise.However,there are only kindergarten teachers at that stage,but there is no education for preschool teachers.Until the establishment of the Kindergarten Teachers' College in the Teachers College in Taiwan in 1946,there was a real sense of preschool teacher education.In this way,the history of preschool teachers' education in Taiwan was not long,but it was only a short period of more than 70 years.Over the past few decades,the education of preschool teachers in Taiwan has continued to evolve and evolve.It has undergone a process of development from scratch and gradual progress.The current education of preschool teachers in Taiwan is developing in the direction of professionalism and quality.In this article,the author takes the reform of teacher education in Taiwan since the 1990 s as the research object.Based on the abundant literature materials,it uses the literature method,the comparison method,and the historical method to systematically sort out the context of the early childhood teacher education reform in Taiwan.And it's a comprehensive and meticulous analysis of its reforms.The study is divided into three parts:The first part is mainly to review the education of preschool teachers in Taiwan before the 1990 s.We can clearly understand the history of the reform and grasp of the later reforms.The second part is the focus of this study,focusing on the three reforms of early childhood teacher education in Taiwan since the 1990 s,studying its reform background,reform content and reform measures,and grasping the direction and focus of its reform.The third part is the comprehensive grasp of the reforms in the Taiwan region since the 1990 s.To begin with,it analyzes its overall characteristics,comprehensive effectiveness,and problems during the reform process.In addition,the reform of early childhood teacher education in the mainland China has been sorted out,and the current achievements have been fully affirmed,and the problems to be solved have also been viewed.Based on the current situation of preschool teacher education reform in mainland China,and drawing lessons from Taiwan's successful experiences,it will provide some inspirations for the reform and development of preschool teacher education in the mainland.This study has systematically reviewed,summarized,and analyzed the background,history,effectiveness and problems of early childhood teacher education reforms in Taiwan by reviewing the history of preschool teachers education in Taiwan and highlighting several changes in early childhood teacher education since the 1990 s.To provide a basis for a more comprehensive,objective and in-depth understanding of the reform and status of preschool teachers in Taiwan.At the same time,according to the current situation and problems of early childhood teacher education reform in the mainland,combined with the experience of the Taiwan region,several suggestions are made,which have important functions and awareness for promoting the reform and development of early childhood teacher education in mainland China.
