In the "big data era" where science and technology and the Internet are rapidly developing,huge amounts of data and information are generated every day in all areas of the world.The research results of educational technology are also showing a blowout-type growth,and educational technology is a comprehensive interdisciplinary.It is not efficient and accurate through the method of qualitative research alone.Therefore,this study expect to use the research method of scientometrics to excavate textual information,and use visualization soft wares to draw the knowledge mapping of international educational technology,so that the research status,research hot-topics,knowledge bases,academic groups,research frontiers,and research trends of this discipline will be displayed more intuitively.This research uses Web of Science database and CSSCI database as data sources,applying vocabulary analysis,co-word analysis,co-citation analysis,social network analysis and other research methods,using Cite Space,Ucinet,SPSS and other software tools to visualize the literature data downloaded from the database which including ten kinds of foreign educational technology core journals(such as "COMPUTERS & EDUCATION","BRITISH JOURNAL OF EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY")and eight kinds of domestic educational technology core journals(such as "China Electronic Education","E-Education Research").This paper draws and analyzes the keywords co-occurrence knowledge mapping of international educational technology,it reveals that the research hot-topics of educational technology include "Students","Education","Technology","Interactive Learning Environment","Teaching/Learning Strategies","Distance Education","Educational Technology","Information Technology","Education Informatization","Instructional Design","MOOC" and so on.By drawing and analyzing the literatures co-cited knowledge mapping of international educational technology,it clarifies that the researches of Multimedia Learning,E-learning,Teacher's knowledge and belief,Game-Based Learning,Constructivism Theory,Modern Education Technology and Deepening Reform of Education are the knowledge bases to promote the development of educational technology discipline.By drawing and analyzing the social network of authors co-cited of international educational technology,it shows the international status of Richard E.Mayer,David H.Jonassen,Albert Bandura,Randy Garrison,and other scholars in the field of educational technology,and He Kekang,Nan Guonong,Zhu Zhiting,Yu Shengquan,Ding Xingfu,Huang Ronghuai,Sang Xinmin,Hwang G.J and other scholars have significant influence in the field of domestic educational technology.Through detecting burst of keywords and cited references,it is found that the change of the frontiers of educational technology is consistent with the development of technology,and the researches on Technology Integration,Cognitive Load,Mobile Learning,Education Informatization and Flipped Classroom are the newest research frontiers in recent years,and they are the development trends of the future research.It is hopes that through the text mining work of this research,we can gain insight into the current knowledge of the development of international educational technology and learn valuable information,so as to provide constructive suggestions for the development of education technology discipline and education informatization.
