Teachers' right to discipline refers to the punishment of improper behavior of students for failing to obey the rules in the process of teaching students.The right is in order to guide students in their future study and daily life,and not repeat similar misbehavior.The right of discipline is a special right of teachers to discipline students.This is a kind of professional right that teachers should enjoy and use in order to achieve their educational purposes.This right does not come out of nowhere,but has been used by many educators over the course of thousands of years of education.And there are also provisions in national laws.But in our current society and in the educational environment,the existence and use of disciplinary power has a worrying situation: abuse and absence of disciplinary power coexist,teachers themselves have improper understanding of disciplinary power.As a result,the society has misunderstandings about the right of teachers to discipline.The right of discipline of teachers is not a“great beast”.The correct use of the power of discipline of teachers can effectively promote the work of education,when the right to discipline of teachers should not be removed as a tumor at all.It should be regulated and guided so that the implementation of disciplinary power from teachers abuse and lack of alienation.And gradually return to the right path of education service,in order to improve the legal system,integrate resources,home-school cooperation and other measures.
