The MOOC(Massive Open Online Course)has promoted the rapid development of the online education in China.More and more users have experience in the online learning.However,since there lacked a systematic evaluation rubric for online courses,the online courses in practice have gradually exposed some problems such as the low completion rate or the lack of the quality guarantee of the courses,which may impede the sustainable development of the online courses.The learners are the most direct experiencer and evaluator of the course.This paper,based on the perspective of the students,explores the factors that influence the online learning experience in order to provide some suggestions for the quality evaluation and the sustainable development of the online courses.In this paper,we take three high school physics online courses as examples and survey the students in three schools for their curriculum experience.We focus on the reasons for the fluctuations of the students' learning experience of the courses.Through the experience—time charts that the students made during the learning process,we have analyzed the time values,the experience values and the reasons for the experience fluctuation in the graph.By combining the specific contents of the course video,we have summarized 11 factors that may influence the online learning experience based on the students' perspective.Also,we have classified the influence factors into the types of the sensual or the non-sensual factors according to the students' self report.Finally,we have got 5 sensory factors,including the sound quality of the course video,the mouse pointer,the language of the teacher,the blackboard-writing,and the form of teaching.We also summarized 6 nonsensory factors,including the opening remark,the course video post processing,the selection of the example,the explanation,the interaction,and the personal characteristic.At the same time,we have summarized 7 learning experience characteristics of the online courses based on the students' perspective through some common features occured in the learning experience fluctuations of the students.
