The online education became popular with the rapid development of computer technology and "Internet plus".As a new form of education,MOOC attracted wide attention by domestic and foreign universities,and educational institutions.Adult higher education is an important part of national education,but there are many drawbacks in teaching mode and content setting.The contradiction between work and study is the main problem.The characteristics of MOOC,such as large-scale,online and open,have played a certain role in promoting the reform of the educational system.The trend of application of MOOC in adult higher education is more and more obvious,a lot of Universities,.School of continuing education have opened MOOC courses and registered students stampede in.Why is MOOC so attractive,what are the factors influencing students' willingness to use? It has become a hot topic.In this study,we intend to use the theory of planned behavior and the technology acceptance model theory to construct learning theory in view point of adult higher education students.Based on the correlation analysis of MOOC and combined with the influence of individual behavior,we extracted 29 factors which may heave a deep influence.We designed questionnaire about factors of MOOC using for the adult higher education students.Through questionnaire survey and exploratory factor analysis,29 factors are classified into 6 categories: interactive,persistence,easy-using,efficiency,environmental factors,learning costs.From the Shenzhen University where we did a case study in the Institute of education,we found the feature of students' willingness to use MOOC,about 60% of the students said they wanted to integrate MOOC into teaching.Multiple regression analysis was used to understand the relationship between students' willingness and influencing factors.The results showed that persistence,learning efficiency and environmental factors had a significant impact on students' choice of MOOC and the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)is used to figure out the weight of three factors.Environmental factors were found to have significant impact among them.The independent T test was used to analyze the six factors of individual variables(sex,age and grade)on students' willingness of using MOOC.Students of different sexes had significant differences between three factors of interaction,sustainability and learning cost.There are no significant differences in the six factors of willingness from students of different ages and grades using MOOC.Through the research and investigation,we get the basic situation of MOOC use in adult higher education,and grasp the main problems that appear in the application of MOOC in adult higher education,and put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
