Colleges and universities shoulder the important task of training talents for social development,promoting technological innovation and national scientific research progress,and play a decisive role in economic development.As an important part of colleges and universities,university assets are the precondition for organizing teaching and scientific research,and embodies the comprehensive strength of colleges and universities.The management of assets is directly related to the running level of colleges and universities,directly affecting the scale,quality and efficiency of universities.Therefore,asset management in Colleges and universities should attract widespread attention,prevent asset loss and maintain asset integrity.In the process of asset management in Colleges and universities,there are many problems.such as If the purchase process is completed,the corresponding assets are not registered;The process of checking assets is unreasonable and the process is not standard;The handling formalities of the assets are tedious,the cycle is long and inefficient,and so on.How to solve these problems and adapt to the rapid development of colleges and Universities under the new situation is an urgent matter.This is beneficial to the rational and optimal allocation of the assets of colleges and universities,to improve the efficiency of asset management,and to promote the long-term development of colleges and universities.First of all,this paper starts with the concept and nature of the university assets,and then draws on the advanced experience at home and abroad,and combines the status of the asset management in China's colleges and universities.Taking the H University as an example,this paper adopts the method of literature review and case analysis,and analyzes its management system,internal control and so on.Suggestions and Countermeasures for strengthening asset management in Colleges and universities are put forward,so as to achieve equity and efficiency in education,realize the preservation and increment of assets in universities,and achieve the economic and social benefits of colleges and universities.
