| The development of primary school’s football in China is currently led by campus football.Campus football is one of the most important contents in primary school’s PE lessens in China.Based on the ten primary schools in Nanshan District of Shenzhen,this thesis discusses the status quo of campus football in primary education,its role in the overall development of primary school students,the existing challenges and possible solutions.Football can not only improve students’ physical fitness in primary schools but also have important values in promoting their physical and mental health.It is the basis for increasing the football population and training football talents.In the implementation of football education and teaching,the understanding of the value of primary school students’ football,the teachers’ ability to teach football,the attitude of school administrators to football,facilities and funds,and the training of school football teams,competitions,and the construction of campus football culture,etc.reflect the practical situation of campus football in primary education.Based on the status quo of the campus football in primary school,a series of investigations are carried out in this thesis targeting at ten primary schools in Nanshan district of Shenzhen.Investigations have been conducted such as literature and data methods,expert interviews,questionnaire surveys,mathematical statistics,and logical analysis.This thesis reveals the value of developing primary school campus football in cultivating pupils’ overall development in mental and physical health and the existing general problems and the possible solutions.The conclusions are: people have poor understandings of the effects that football can promote pupils’ overall development of mental and physical health;Football accounts a small part in the primary schools’ PE curriculum;there is a shortage of qualified professional physical education teachers and coaches;the PE teachers have low football coaching skills and they are less focusing on the formation of students’ hobbies,and creating football culture atmosphere;the school football team does not have a perfect teaching and training system;football facilities are incomplete;competitions and funds are inadequate etc.All above has affected the development of campus football in primary schools and the solutions are proposed accordingly.Although the data used in this thesis is in a specific area,the conclusions are basic and universal,and they can provide references for the primary schools’ football education and teaching.It ishoped that through the analysis and research of this thesis,campus football in the primary schools can be promoted in the direction of cultivating the full development of primary school students in mortality,intelligence and physics,the provision of football starlets,and the formulation of football education policies and rules. |
