The United States' medical education as a world-class higher medical education is closely related to its high standard of educational goals and mature educational system.Student affairs management is an indispensable part of American higher education and has been made in the education of medical students Indelible contribution.In this paper,from the perspective of studying the management of student affairs in American medical colleges,this paper analyzes the management objectives,management ideas,management methods and specific management contents of medical students affairs management,using historical method,comparative method,literature research method and logical analysis method and other research methods,to analyze the American Medical College student affairs management "what,why,how",sort out the historical context of its development,analysis of its management effectiveness,summed up its characteristics,in order to sum up the available Medical college student management work experience for our medical school student practice management work better around the students to grow into play to provide reference and help.The United States college student affairs management work can be traced back to the colonial period,its development and change has gone through three stages.Namely: the budding period(in loco parents period),the development period(student personnel movement period)and the breakthrough period(student development concept period).In the colonial period of the United States land,institutions of higher learning began to appear,college student affairs management work also followed,after decades of development,the American college student affairs management from the early nineteenth century teachers as teaching and daily management of the dual responsibility to develop Contemporary professional management team,scientific management methods and unified management philosophy of the professional management system.Although the rise of American medical education is not long,but the high standard of education goals and the elite of the training model makes the United States significant achievements in medical education,the quality of American medical education in the world for all to see.American medical education as a part of American higher education,inherited the essence of specialization of student affairs management in American colleges and universities,but because American medical education has higher training standard,higher training time and higher degree of professionalism than other higher education,American medical school student affairs management work are different with other colleges and universities.But in recent years,China's medical education began to explore and international standards,launched the "5+3" medical training model,medical graduate diversion and other policies to strengthen the practice of medical students,to cultivate and continue to pay attention to medical education.The introduction of these policies is to accelerate the internationalization of medical education in China's,Because of this,in the medical education training model put forward the reform measures,at the same time,to speed up with students affairs management reform is also essential.This paper analyzes the work of the American medical college student affairs management in several aspects of the work idea and mission,the theory foundation,the organization,the management content and the work team,and further analyzes the student affairs management work in the medical student training system Play a role in summing up the characteristics of their student affairs management.At the end of the paper,it puts forward the strategy of the development of student affairs management in China medical school.First of all,should be in line with the concept of management in line with the concept of medical education as a guide to make management ideas more diversified.Second,in the management of content should meet the needs of students-oriented,so that the management of more humane content.Once again in the management system,should be to provide professional services as the standard,so that the management system more professional.Finally,in these three areas,"three-pronged approach" in order to make our medical school student affairs management work more professional,in order to better serve the growth of medical students,in order to promote the internationalization of medical education in China,in order to make our country medical students have a long and profound development of student affairs management.
