Student affairs administration in colleges and universities draws great attention in all countries, because it can affect students' life and study in campus and even have a profound influence on their future development. For young students whose world outlook, life outlook and values are still in the process of forming, rigorous, reasonable and people-friendly administration patterns are favorable for their cultivation of excellent qualities, good habits and aggressive spirit, which are a solid base for their future.With the enrolment expansion in institutes of higher education and the record-high number of university students, the weakness of administration system in these institutes expodes. Faced with new challenges, the traditional student affairs administration system can't obviously operate smoothly, which bottlenecks institutes' development to a higher level. As a result, the people-friendly spirit of the age cannot stand out in the traditional system. Therefore, transforming the traditional student affairs administration system is a must in the development of institutes of higher education. In addition, in order to adapt to the enrollment expansion of colleges in China, it is necessary to reform the traditional pattern of administrating college students' affairs and solve the problems in a pattern. It has become a very urgent problem as how to effectively finish the transformation. To effectively solve this problem, it is necessary to give full play to the school and students, change the simple school management into the combination of school management and students' enthusiasm and initiative. Thus, the reform higher academies management can not just be the monodrama of school and instead of being managed passively the students can actively get involved in the management. At the same time, along with the continuous improvement of the national legal system construction and the enhancement of civil rights consciousness, students' affairs administration in colleges and universities has been more challenging, the original management thoughts, management model and management method cannot meet the development. It has become a new education problem to establish the new management ideas, build new management mode and grasp new management method.On the basis of reviewing the previous literature of students' affairs and the students' affairs administration and by defining the students' affairs administration affairs and related concepts, analyzing the development history of college students affairs in our country, this article points out the deficiencies and problems in the development of students' affairs administration with foreign universities students affairs management mode. Combining the study of college student affairs management mode of foreign universities, this article introduces college students' affairs management of foreign countries such as American, England, Germany, France, Japan and other developed countries and its characteristics. To solve the problems of university students' affairs management, this article proposes to change our mode of college students'affairs management in the aspects of playing the student main body role, perfecting student affairs administration system and constructing a professional and specialized student affairs administration team.
