With the development of economy and society,the ability of innovation becomes more and more important in the employment and career development of contemporary university students.While the innovation and entrepreneurship education practice are in full swing,the academia has not yet reached a consensus on how these educational practice innovations affect student development and whether they have achieved the expected goals.Based on the interaction ritual chain,the following study takes the student innovation team in the Q School of H University as the example.Through qualitative research methods,the following three aspects of research work have been completed.First of all,Collins' definition of "interaction ritual" exists in current university student innovation team.The interaction ritual is an important means and approach for the construction of innovation team.From the point of view of the elements of interaction ritual,Its manifestations can be divided into recruitment ceremonies,promotion ceremonies and integration ceremonies.From the results of interaction ritual,it can be divided into successful interaction ritual and failed interaction ritual.Secondly,this study analyzed the function of interaction ritual in university student innovation team.Successful interaction ritual can realize the potential of students,enhance team cohesion,achieve group unity,enhance members' abilities of innovation and innovation,and achieve the goal of training innovative talents.Failed interaction ritual will result in the loss of members,wasted resources,reduced team members' sense of acquisition,and team dissolution.Finally,this study reveals the operating mechanism of the interaction ritual and the reasons for the effects of the interaction ritual.Through participation in common events,team members trigger short-lived emotional stimuli that continue to accumulate as emotional energy.High-intensity emotional energy will enhance the individual's willingness to interact;low-level emotional stimuli will weaken individual participation and lead to marginalization of members.Comparing different types of innovation team,it is found that one affecting factor of interaction ritual is the relationship between the innovation team and the instructor,and the other factor is the subjective attributes of the innovation team.If the instructor is a “Charisma” character,the entire team will form a closely connected team;if the instructor plays the role of supervising or assisting in cooperation,the entire team will have a selfcentered approach.In terms of the subject's attributes,the liberal arts team considers itself in a weak and disadvantageous position.The resource acquisition,team building,and team atmosphere are not as good as those of the science and engineering team.The interaction ritual is also relatively poor and the team is weaker than other teams.
