As one of the main interpersonal interactions during college students' time, the interaction between students and students has a hidden curriculum function which affects the development of college students. It also affects the students' morale of learning and their sense of belonging to the colleges. The latter one also affects the development of college students.Due to the complexity of interactive content,in order to explore the regularity of interaction between peers affecting the development of college students, this study focuses on the regularity and face-to-face social interaction between individual students in the field of colleges and universities, and does not include sudden or negative interactions such as conflict and violence. In this study,a hybrid research method was used to construct a structural equation model of interaction between students and students, morale, sense of belonging, and the development of college students on the basis of exploring the characteristics of college students' interaction with peers.First of all, examine the interaction differences among college peers from the interactive content, scale, and objects. In terms of interactive content,on the whole, the sample students' learning interaction level is lower than the non-learning interaction level, the learning interactions of science and inward students were significantly higher than those of liberal arts students and outward students, respectively. In terms of the scale of interaction, the scale of student interaction among students with extroverted students, students, party members, student cadres, students in middle and upper grade schools, and county-level cities was significantly higher than that of students with inward-looking students,freshmen,non-party students, ordinary students, and other students; For interactive object, students ofteninteract closely with their peers who have the same personality and contact conveniently.Second, the interaction of college peers presents hierarchical features in four dimensions.1.Content stratification, divided into "students" and "playmates";2.Status stratification, students are in the edge or core position in the specific interactive situation;3.Power stratification, the interaction between students and students affects the stratification of the students' campus status;4.The social production of the personality, students interaction shapes students' personality.Through interviews,it is found that the internal mechanism of stratification inherits and breaks the theory of cultural reproduction.Thirdly, using AMOS21 software for multiple intermediary analysis,it was found that learning morale plays a partial intermediary role in learning interaction and college student development. The sense of belonging plays a role in mediating between non-learning interactions and the development of college students.Through multi-group analysis of structural equations,it was found that learning interactions and non-learning interactions have a greater effect on the development of female college students than male students;non-learning interactions have a greater effect on the development of inward personality.Non-learning interactions play a greater role in external personal development. Finally, from the perspective of talent cultivation and fairness in education,we propose constructive suggestions for college and university to help college students, especially disadvantaged groups,to better engage with peers and gain more development.
