In our daily life, menstruation is a kind of physical practice for women and belongs to the category of physiological phenomena. At the same time,we all think it is also classified as a private field and belongs to the category of social taboos. The basis of this article's argument is that menstruation is not merely a physiological phenomenon, but also a social phenomenon with a rich social meaning attached to it.Feminism occupies a decisive position in the exploration of the theme of menstruation. However,it mainly focuses on women and the male group is absent. Therefore, this study combines the theoretical perspectives of Marxist feminism and postmodern feminism, and mainly uses in-depth interviews to interview 20 young unmarried young men with higher education.Trying to explore how individual young men view and treat women's menstruation in the micro-interaction of daily life,so as to further re-examine the relationship between menstruation and femininity in daily life.Findings of the dissertation are as follows:Firstly: Young males obtain information of menstruation through four different social mechanisms, such as family, school, peer group and mass media, and construct menstrual cultures that are different from women. However, the menstrual cognition of young men is more derived from peer groups. With mass media, families and schools that are important places for socialization have not played an effective role. That is,whether it is families or schools, the culture of menstrual education and the ideology of gender division are prominent.Secondly: The young men's discourse constructs physiological menstruation, gender menstruation, emotional menstruation and sexual menstruation. The words of young men pay more attention to the implications of menstrual society and sexuality,ie emotional, caring, sexual Rather than physical cognition. In addition, the de-sexification of menstruation makes the menstrual dissociated from the physicalmeaning and becomes a culturally meaningful word.In short, menstruation shows the manifestation of social signs, and the physiological decline.Thirdly: The menstrual culture of young men is not only reflected in the construction of menstrual discourse, but also in the way young men treat menstruation. The way in which young men deal with menstrual-related affairs in the interaction of daily life is also the presentation of their menstrual culture. This article finds that men's action strategies for menstrual related affairs are manifested as avoidance, joking and support.Menstruation is a topic in which men maintain their gender roles. The active support of young men takes part in the discussion of menstruation to a certain extent, showing progress in the concept of gender, but in essence it is the maintenance of their sexual temperament, which is a kind of gender temperament.Cured performance. This article aims to re-examine the relationship between the construction of femininity in women's menstrual life in everyday life and liberate women's social signs from biology.
