Research On The Application Of Social Work Methods In Ideological And Political Education In Colleges And Universities In Xinjiang

The ideological and political education in Xinjiang is facing the challenge of diversification of students’ ideology and individualization of behavior.Besides,the diversity of students’ national composition and differences of living habits lead to the difficulty of Ideological and political education in Colleges and universities.The traditional methods lack full respect and concern for the students.Moreover,the identity is unequal between educators and students.The traditional methods have become more and more ineffective.After a hundred years of professional development and historical examination,social work has a variety of working methods,especially pay attention to the value of the client,the exertion of potential,the ability to solve the problem and the initiative of self-determination.Social work can not only prevent the externalization and occurrence of students’ problems,but also correct students’ derailment behavior by scientific methods in time.Social work can contribute effectively to the growth and success of students from three levels,namely,individual,group and community.The application of the social work method to the ideological and political education in Xinjiang colleges can not only follow the ideological needs of the ideological and political education in Xinjiang’s colleges,but also enrich the methods of Xinjiang colleges,and provide better solutions for the students problem in Xinjiang.First of all,through the method of questionnaire survey,we investigated the students and staff of several representative universities in Xinjiang by random sampling survey.Through the analysis of the questionnaire,we found that the college students in Xinjiang were not satisfied with the ideological and political education of the existing colleges and universities.There is much space for improvement in political education,and we believe that ideological and political education in Colleges should pay more attention to individual students.The survey provides necessary support for the research in this paper.By combining the case work methods,the group work methodss,the community work methods and the main contents of the ideological and political education in Xinjiang university,the article analyzed and explored the effective mode of the social work that used in the ideological and political education in Xinjiang colleges.In order to enrich the practicalmethods of Ideological and political education in Colleges,and enhance the effectiveness of Ideological and political education in Xinjiang universities.
