In the curriculum for junior middle school biology classes,students are expected to participate actively in the learning process,gain biological knowledge,form the way of rational thinking and positive attitude,cultivate lifelong learning awareness after coming through ways of asking questions,obtaining information,finding evidence,testing hypothesis,and discovering laws.This paper provides basis for the topic selection is briefly interpreted based on the contents: the second classroom and its features,middle school biology curriculum standards,objectives and the connections of the second and the first classroom teaching.Besides,analyzes the research status of the second classroom at home and abroad,and the development of teaching situation in Bayan-hushu No.4 middle school,discusses the purpose and significance of second classroom teaching in the biology courses.Besides,based on relevant sophisticated methods,this paper analyzes the contents of biology textbooks in junior middle school for the second classroom teaching,and meantime investigates the teaching resources for the second classroom courses in Bayan-hushu No.4 middle school.Last but not least,the impacts of the contents of seventh grade biology class on students was investigated and analyzed in second classroom teaching for Bayan-hushu school,with courses of “organisms in the surrounding environment”,“practice of the microscope”,“plant cells”,“seed plants” and “seed germination”.The result shows that the second classroom practice teaching plays an important role in stimulating students' interest in learning,benefiting all students and improving the quality of biological science of teachers and students,advocating inquiry learning methods.Second classroom teaching practice is much less needed due to the more work involved in the preparation and implementation,the longer time be need to included in the teaching plan,and so on.Junior middle school biology teachers should improve their own scientific literacy,and attach importance to actively carry out the second classroom teaching practice.
