In recent years,the development of Internet technology and the wide use of smart phones have made an unprecedented development in instant messenger software,in which WeChat is the fastest-growing and the most popular social software,but also the fastest growth in mobile applications and Internet services so far,which has become the largest user groups in Asia.“Just as it is”is the current era of WeChat.By March 2018,WeChat's global active monthly users have exceeded the 1 billion mark for the first time.By developing and updating of WeChat,the increasingly significant social function of WeChat triggered deep discussion in the industry and academic circles.Social Self-efficacy is an important index to identify individual social perception and social beliefs.University students as a reserve force for the future of society,whose social and psychological changes directly affect its social interaction and social life.The purpose is to investigate undergraduates' behavior in using WeChat and the resulting changes in social self-efficacy,trying to find out if there is a relationship between the two variables ? If so,what aspects of WeChat use affect the individual social self-efficacy community of college students? Based on these questions,this research establishes the research model between college students' WeChat use behavior and users' social self-efficacy,and proposes research hypotheses to explore their mutual relations and influencing factors.Firstly,the paper analyzes the current status of WeChat social and individual social self-efficacy through literature analysis,and then defines the relative dimensions and measurement problems of WeChat use behavior and social self-efficacy.Among them,the measurement dimension of WeChat behavior is divided into five aspects,such as intensity of use,perceived degree of use,satisfaction of use,degree of communication and intimacy,and social self-efficacy is a single factor structure.Thus,the research model was built to establish the relationship and influence of various dimensions of WeChat use behavior and social self-efficacy.On this basis,this article mainly uses the quantitative research methods to measure the research variables through some questions,collecting 673 valid data totally,which used SPSS22.0 statistical software to analyze the data and to verifie the research model and the research hypothesis.The research results show that college students' WeChat use behavior can help users to improve their social self-efficacy in a certain extent,Acting on WeChat user behavior,user's intensity of use,perceived degree of use,satisfaction of use,degree of communication and intimacy has a correlation with the social self-efficacy of college students in varying degrees,and there is a certain degree for influence.And there are some influential factors,especially the intensity,the use of perception and the degree of communication dependence,which not only show significant positive correlation,but also have a considerable impact.In addition,individuals' trust in WeChat social and demographic variables on this influence is negligible.
