| This article is a practical study on the case work of medical social work involving amputation patients.With the continuous development of medical technology,people's life span has been prolonged,but the incidence and prevalence of various chronic complex diseases have been on the rise.We are still powerless for some diseases,and amputation is a kind of treatment that breaks the ring.It is the medical treatment option for medical personnel who have no other treatment for diseases and injuries.In recent years,traumatic accidents such as work-related accidents,accidents,and accidental injuries have occurred frequently,and the incidence of arteritis,bone cancer,osteomyelitis,and diabetic complications has not been well controlled.These are important causes of amputation of patients.And it is also because of the high incidence of these reasons that the number of amputees continues to remain at a high level.Most of the amputations are sudden,and patients and their families rarely have enough psychological preparation.Although some patients improve their limb function through the installation of prosthetic limbs and rehabilitation training,patients still suffer from stress in more directions like family,society,and economy.Many patients suffer from serious negative reactions such as low self-esteem,pessimistic,disappointed,even rejected amputation and suicide,because they cannot cope with these pressures.Paying attention to the mental health of amputees is an important part of their treatment,and it is the key to enable patients to restore their social life as soon as possible.Medical social work as a helper self-help professional can use professional methods to intervene in amputees.On the one hand,it provides psychological support,responds to crises,and reduces psychological trauma.On the other hand,it helpsthem link resources,and establishes social support systems after hospitalization and discharge.Relieve the psychological and social pressure of amputees and make them actively face the future.This research uses questionnaires,literature,interviews,and statistical methods.Based on the theory of crisis intervention,it combs domestic and international social work on amputee crisis intervention related literature,based on the amputee who in the Department of Vascular Surgery,T3 Hospital,T City,Shanxi Province and serves them.Firstly,the article formed a “psychological patient behavior questionnaire for amputees”based on the “Nonpsychiatric Inpatient Psychological Status Scale” and “Disease Family Burden Table”,and used a self-administered questionnaire to investigate the basic perioperative period of amputation patients.The statistical analysis of the situation and the problems manifested in the aspects of cognition,emotion,behavior,economy,etc.,and on the basis of this analysis,the dilemmas faced by amputees and their causes.Second,from the micro level,the crisis intervention service was provided to the individual cases through the process of pre-screening-intervention-closing and assessment.The patient was an older patient with arteriosclerosis obliterans from the city.He had to undergo amputation for recanalization of the blood vessel.Also,he had to severe phantom limb pain and negative emotions after surgery.Social workers renewed the trust of their patients in medical care by strengthening communication between doctors and patients,learning popular science,and formulating routine tasks.The condition of the social workers gradually improved,and they learned to change their negative attitudes.Finally,the article summarizes the practical dilemma of the case work of the medical social work for amputees.It is manifested in many aspects such as imperfect system,lack of supervision,lack of ability,and ethical dilemmas.The article also proposes corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for dilemmas,improves the practice and supervision system,strengthens learning and personal abilities,and helps amputees from the perspective of crisis theory and advantages. |
