A Research On Social Work Intervention Of Vagrant Minors From The Perspective Of Crisis Intervention

In recent years,with the increasing number of vagrant minors,this group of vagrant minors has become one of the important targets for social workers to intervene.Because of their own vulnerability and the incomplete social support network,vagrant minors have many problems in social adaptation and their own growth and development.Especially when they encounter a sudden crisis,they will have a series of stress reactions,and the resolution of the crisis undoubtedly requires social workers to offer prevention and preparation before the crisis and effective intervention after the crisis professionally.In this way,they can assist them to get rid of the crisis as soon as possible and to better adapt to life when their own abilities are insufficient.Based on the theory of crisis intervention,this article adopts the method of case study to provide rescue services for vagrant minors.In the first part,I read a lot of literature to summarize the experience and shortcomings of the predecessors.The second part introduces the feasibility of the crisis intervention model for vagrant minors and introduces the basic situation of the relief station and social work projects in Zhangzhou.The third part and fourth part are the main part of this article,that is,the entire practical research process,the study selected a vagrant minor from the Zhangzhou rescue station who was abandoned by his mother which is considered as a sudden crisis as the research object,and carried out a three-stage case service.The first stage is to collect information comprehensively,intervene in time,quickly determine the crisis situation faced by the clients,and actively establish a professional relationship with them.In the second stage,empathy,listening,encouraging support and other skills are used to help clients ease their bad emotions and input new hope for them.The third stage actively links multiple resources and provides support for the service objects.Meanwhile,this stage is to assist the client to deal with negative emotional reactions such as fear,anxiety,grief,and provide help to the client in the role of resource linker,indirectly helping the client to solve the psychological crisis and to return to a normal life state,and finally to make it get through the sudden crisis event smoothly.Finally,I evaluate from the aspects of the entire service process,the achievement of goals,and whether the crisis has been resolved,etc.Summarize and reflect on the methods and techniques of social work used in the case.The practical process shows that crisis intervention has a strong applicability to deal with sudden situational crisis encountered by vagrant minors.This crisis intervention practice enriches the range of people involved in crisis in the process of intervening in the service of vagrant minors,to improve the fit between theory and practice in the specific range,and to broaden the service areas of social work for vagrant minors in our country at this stage.
