People's Daily China Delegation At The Rio Olympics Report Frame Analysis

This paper analyzes the reports of the China Daily in the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games related to Chinese delegation,and uses the framework theory and the content analysis method to study the subject frame and structure frame respectively.Analysis of the "People's Daily" during the Rio Olympic Games,the number of reports on the Chinese delegation,coverage of the topic,coverage of the layout and columns,reported genre,reported tendencies,as well as reported schema structure,reported sources,The discourse framework and so on.And then summed up the "People's Daily" in the Rio Olympic Games on the Chinese delegation reported the characteristics and causes of the framework.After that analysis of samples of the 148 article,"people's Daily" the Rio Olympics Chinese delegation reported:with the Olympics as a framework for the media and bridges,shaping through field games and related events to the Rio Olympics reduction and a sense of ritual,more inclined to or from the perspective of praise will the game,and related activities and personnel as the main content of communication,transmission of sports spirit and style to the audience,in order to enhance the audience on the nation's sense of belonging and identity.The framework is based on the orientation of "people's Daily",the needs of the people's daily,and the dissemination value of people's daily.In addition,after summarizing the characteristics and causes of the report of the People's Daily in the Olympic Games about Chinese delegation,this study chooses the Chinese women's volleyball team as a typical case by analyzing the number of reports and the topic of the report.The proposed reporting framework was validated.In this paper,according to the frame structure to determine the typical cases in the news text,such as "explicit means" content,select a typical case of the proposed framework for comparative verification.Through the analysis of the typical case reporting framework,the rationality and accuracy of the framework of the overall report is verified.This is the main innovation of this study.The final conclusions of the study are summarized,and the research on the sample size,still exist defect on the topic,reported tendentiousness which is more subjective classification method and qualitative research method,can be added in the late stage.
