The Willingness Of Rural Residents To Settle In Rural Areas

At present,with the deepening of China’s aging,aging will bring great influence on all aspects of society.Therefore,in order to deal with the problem of population aging,"two child alone" and "comprehensive two child" policy have been put forward to promote the optimization of population structure,so as to slow down the pressure brought by aging and promote the balanced development of population.In addition,as the process of urbanization in China continues to advance,the population of the mobile population is increasing,and the number of elderly people in rural areas is increasing.For rural migrant people,the environment will be great changes than before to live to live in the city,and the concept of value,life style,circle of friends and many other aspects are different than before,which makes most of the rural migrant old man came to the city life is obvious discomfort,causing them to reside in the city will not be strong.The purpose of this paper is to study the urban settlement intention of the elderly in the countryside.Select three cities in Shenyang,Dalian and Benxi as part of the survey,A total of 160 samples were obtained from the field survey.On the basis of literature review and research,A questionnaire survey and case interview method were adopted to visit some of the elderly in the target area.The effective questionnaires were statistically analyzed,sorted out and analyzed.To understand the current living conditions and settlement intentions of the elderly in rural areas.Firstly,Descriptive analysis is conducted on the characteristics of the elderly in the countryside.Research shows:Most of the rural elderly moved to cities were passive.The main reason for them to come to cities is to help their children look after their grandchildren and do housework.The most important source of their economy is the supply of their children.What is important is that the elderly in rural areas lack a sense of belonging,When they come to live in cities,they still consider themselves "outsiders" and "rural people".This will have an impact on urban life and permanent settlement in cities.Secondly,From the two aspects of the way of living and the living environment,The present situation of urban residence in rural areas is analyzed.Through the analysis of data description,it is found that: The elderly moved to the cities mostly live in their own children’s homes.And they still prefer to live in the countryside,because the urban infrastructure will outperform the rural areas.Therefore,the elderly in the countryside are satisfied with their housing status,housing quality and supporting facilities.Thirdly,After a certain understanding of the characteristics and living conditions of the elderly in the countryside,By using the methods of general analysis and econometric analysis,the influencing factors of rural settlement will be arranged.The results of the study are found,There are individual differences in the urban settlement intention of the rural migrant workers in the survey sample.Among them,The older the elderly and the former occupations are the peasants.The longer the duration of migration is,the stronger the willingness of the rural elderly to settle in the city.In addition,The willingness of rural residents to settle in urban areas is also affected by the education degree,income,the reasons for the change,the willingness to follow up,the area of the cultivated land,the per capita living area,and whether there is an independent housing.Last,On the basis of the above analysis,This paper puts forward that the willingness to promote the urban settlement of the elderly in rural areas should be carried out from the reasons of the elderly,the construction of the urban community itself and the continuous improvement of the social security system by the government.In order to achieve the purpose of promoting the rural elderly to settle in cities.
